Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club

Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club, previously a Semi-Private course named Shores Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Rockwall, Texas.

This Ralph Plummer designed layout first opened in 1979.

As you wind your way over creeks, ponds, and bays, you will be challenged to put your best strategy and skills to work to conquer this traditional style layout. The rolling fairways have a scenic setting on Lake Ray Hubbard. The course has the lake on five holes, as well as water on another seven. With its lack of trees, the main challenges are the water and the wind off the lake. Tees ranging from 5,500 to 7,200 yards allow an enjoyable day for any type of golfer.

#15 is a par 5 that plays o almost 600 yards from the tips. The hole has water potential on both the tee shot and approach. The wind on this hole often adds another layer of difficulty.

#18 is a 452-yard par 4. Like the #14. it has water in play off the tee and on the approach. The lake cuts into the fairway and narrows the landing area, and a fairway bunker guards the corner of the slight dogleg left.
