Pedernales Golf Club first opened for play in 1967. The course was designed by Frank Howard.
Pedernales Golf Club, also known as Willie Nelson's Cut-N-Putt is a nine hole golf course owned by the legendary singer (who's also an avid golfer).
Pedernales Golf Club is a beautiful nine-hole course spanning the hill-tops near the Pedernales River in western Travis County, Texas. The Pedernales Golf Club is more than just a beautiful course; it's refreshing divergence from the formal country club scene. The rules here are a little different. They play golf there to have fun, and as you would expect, a lot of fun is had by all.
Pedernales Golf Club is located next to Willie's recording studio and condos. The Pro Shop features all kinds of Willie Nelson golf paraphernalia, and most of it is available here online.
Though memberships are available, they are open to the public. You're welcome at Pedernales Golf Club if you love the game. As with Willie's music career, the atmosphere here is a little more outlaw, less establishment. Among the local rules, "No more than twelve in your foursome." And: "No bikinis, mini-skirts, skimpy see-through, or sexually exploitative attire allowed. Except on women."
The Pedernales Country Club golf course plays to a par-36 and a maximum 9-hole distance of 3,330 yards.
