Wasatch Mountain State Park Golf Course is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Midway, Utah. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. They are the Mountain Course and The Lake Course.
Wasatch Mountain State Park, Lakes Course first opened for play in 1966. It is the older of the two courses The course was designed by William H. Neff.
The 18-hole Lake Course lies on gentler terrain than the Mountain Course. The Lake Course is very picturesque with many trees and eight lakes that come into play on several holes. All the fairways are narrow, and the greens are medium-sized and plush. Though resting on gentler terrain than the Mountain Course, Lake Course is often judged to be easier than it really is. The course has several short par-5 holes, which require accurate tee shots to avoid well-established stands of trees lining each fairway
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,942 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,573 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-5 that plays to 546 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 184 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 14, the 546 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Wasatch Mountain State Park, Lake Course is # 8, a 198 yard par-3.
