Park City Golf Course
Park City Golf Course first opened for play in 1963 as a nine-hole course. This William Neff, signature golf course was redesigned to its current 18-holes in 1976. In 2003, #18 was redesigned by William Neff Jr., and has proven to be one of the classic finishing holes in Utah.
If one looks at number of rounds played as the criteria, Park City Golf Course is the most popular golf course in Utah. This lively classic ski town remains very active in the incredibly beautiful golf months. This plus the fact that this scenic, challenging and modestly priced municipal facility is almost the only game in town for the visiting golfer, helps explain the high usage
This hasn't always been the case. When it first opened in the 1960's, the nearby Jack Nicklaus-designed Park Meadows Golf Course was public-access, but it's been a private club now for many years.
In addition to providing professionally designed and well kept greens, Park City Golf Club's elevation of 6700 feet can actually add distance to your shots while you play on a course that is typically 10 to 15 degrees cooler than most courses in the area-a definite bonus during the hot summer months.
Park City Golf Course facility plays to a par-72 and 6,754 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 71.7 with a slope rating of 127.
