Mountain View Country Club is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Greensboro, Vermont.
Playing golf at Mountain View began in 1898, with three holes in a pasture between the Town Hall and the lake. In 1899 the "course increased to five holes, each with a tomato can hole. Not satisfied with this progress Arthur Wheeler laid out a new course on Tolman farm land where the club is today. By 1903 there were twenty-six members. They built a small clubhouse in 1906 costing $50.
The Club is a non-profit social and recreational club that welcomes new members but also offers guest and visitor playing privileges. Mountain Valley Golf Club has a challenging, "links style," par 35, 2,927-yard, nine-hole golf course and seven clay tennis courts.
