West Bolton Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Jericho, Vermont
The West Bolton Golf Club golf course first opened for play in 1983. The course was designed by Xen Wheeler
The West Bolton Golf Club is nestled in the Green Mountains of Vermont, only 25 minutes from Burlington or the Stowe area. This picturesque course features extremely narrow fairways and greens framed by thick woods. The rough on the course is very thick, and there are only a few fairway sand bunkers to contend with. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on five holes.
Hole #3 requires only a short iron approach, but is surrounded by trouble. The only miss that leaves you a shot is short. Long, left, and right leave you with an uphill shot from a severely sloped lie.
The beginning of West Bolton's Amen Corner... Hole #5 is the most difficult hole on the front 9. While not long, the hole demands accuracy off the tee with woods down the entire right side and a lone tree guarding the left. Your second shot will be blind to a green that is gaurded by a large mound to the left and a hazard behind. Get out of here with a par and you'll be smiling to the next tee.
Hole #12 requires a precise tee shot. With a pond on the left and a hazard on the right there's no bailing out. The second shot is uphill to an elevated green. The green slopes severely from back-left to front-right.
