Champlain Country Club

Champlain Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Saint Albans, Vermont. 

The course, designed by Duer Irving Sewall, first opened for play in 1915. Graham Cooke added nine new holes and redesigned the others in the early 1990's.

The greens are small and undulating. Some of the greens are well bunkered. The fairways are wide open. There are hills on the course that can cause uneven lies.

Par for the course is 70. From the back tees. the course plays to 6,287 yards. From the forward tees. the course plays to a par-71 and measures 5,104 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 560 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 150 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4 a 390-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Champlain Golf Course is # 12, the 150 yard par-3.
