Greenbrier Country Club

Greenbrier Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Greenbrier Country Club first opened for play in 1987.The course was designed by Rees Jones.

This is a Scottish links-style course with numerous pot bunkers protecting the greens.  The greens are undulating and fast. The narrow fairways are narrow and tree lined. Water hazards come into play on eight holes.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,937 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,320 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 584 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 138 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 8, a 452 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 12, a 172 yard par-3.
