Rivers Bend Golf Club, CLOSED 2016

River's Bend Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Chester, Virginia.

River's Bend Golf Club is situated along the historic James River. The course was designed by Steven Smyers. He used the natural beauty of the area to create challenging holes for golfers of all skill levels.

The course's scenic terrain stretches 6,671 yards from the blue tees at a par of 71. With four sets of tees, the course should appeal to all golf skill levels.

The course stopped operations in 2016.

As of October 2016, Justin Beights and his newly formed firm, Renovo, is under contract to purchase River’s Bend Golf Club, a long-troubled and recently shuttered course on prime riverfront property in Chester, Virginia.

Renovo pools money from investors to acquire properties for at least partial conservation.
