Emporia Country Club

Emporia Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Emporia, Virginia.

The course first opened in 1920. The original layout of the course was designed by Fred Findlay.

The course is fairly short in distance, although water hazards and sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout the design in order to increase the level of difficulty.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,297 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,221 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 544 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7 a par-3 that plays to 149 yards from the back tees. Hole #7 has been the site of a number of holes-in-one on this course.

Watch out for # 6, a 393-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Emporia Golf Course is # 16, a 323 yard par-4.
