The golf course at Lake Gaston Golf Club first opened for play in 1977. The course was designed by Bob Hindricks.

The golf course at Lake Gaston Golf Club has an exceptional variety of holes that range from wide-open fairways to challenging narrow tree-lined "chutes", to spectacular plateaus overlooking beautiful crystal clear lakes and ponds.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 5,914 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,882 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 561 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 14, a par-3 that plays to 99 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4, a 561-yard par-5 challenge, and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Lake Gaston Golf Club is # 16, a 279 yard par-4.

Tee times are required on weekends and recommended during the week.  The course is open year-round.
