Heritage Oaks Golf Course first opened for play in 2001. The course was designed by William Love
Heritage Oaks Golf Course is a challenging and scenic course for golfers of all abilities. Owned by the City of Harrisonburg, Heritage Oaks offers a wide variety of holes. The interesting design of this layout mixes elements of both links and parkland styles. While not a long course, Heritage Oaks offers plenty of challenge with water in play on five holes and some tight fairways on the back nine which feature some of the layout’s namesake oaks. The front nine and the closing holes, however, offer wider fairways and scenic views.
Golfers of all abilities will enjoy playing this par 70 course as it offers four sets of tees on each hole with overall distances ranging from 4500 yards to 6325 yards.
