Glenwood Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 18-hole golf course located in Richmond, Virginia.
Glenwood Golf Club first opened for play in 1927. Fred Findlay designed the course.
This vintage course is short and wide open and is considered user-friendly. The layout has open fairways and fast greens. Water hazards only come into play on holes #6 and #13, both par 4's.
Glenwood permanently closed on June 30, 2022, after 95 years of operation.
Longtime owners Frank Adams and Harry Griffin made the bittersweet decision to sell the course’s 121 acres to a developer. This deal will allow the business partners to retire after decades in the golf business.
