Countryside Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Roanoke, Virginia
Countryside Golf Club first opened for play in 1967. The course was designed by noted golf course architect Ellis Maples.
This course has numerous pine, oak, and birch trees lining its fairways. The consistently well-maintained greens are undulating and putt true.

White tees: par-71, 6,018 yards, 67.6 / 112
Gold tees: par-71, 5,473 yards, 64.9 / 105
Red tees: par-71, 5,195 yards
The course closed March 2010.
The city purchased the course for $4.1 million in 2005. They financed the purchase for 15 years at 6.25% interest. When paid off the property will have cost taxpayers $6 million including the interest.
