Williamsburg National Golf Club, now has two 18-hole Semi-Private, golf courses located in the Williamsburg, Virginia area.
Williamsburg National, honor two nearby historic sites with their Nicklaus designed Jamestown Course that opened for play in 1995 and their newer Yorktown Course designed by Tom Clark that opened for play in 2007.
The Jamestown Course measures 7,000 yards from the championship tees and is Par 72. The Jamestown has served as host to the PGA Tour Michelob Open Qualifier on three occasions. It has received numerous awards including “One of the Ten Best Courses you can play in Virginia†by Golf Digest Magazine.
The Yorktown Course is a 7,000 yard championship course. When asked to comment on the design, Tom Clark said, “It is a course of traditional design and with no gimmicksâ€. However GolfCourseRanking would like you to take note that two of the last three holes measure over 600 yards. Ouch!
