Sudden Valley Golf & Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Bellingham, Washington.
Sudden Valley Golf & Country Club first opened for play in 1970. The course was designed by Ted Robinson.
The Sudden Valley Golf & Country Club golf course's front nine is relatively open and flat and borders the shores of Lake Whatcom. Fairway landing areas are relatively generous and the greens are large. However, the back nine follows a ridge uphill with narrow evergreen-fringed fairways and smaller greens that have more character. Sudden Valley stresses finesse and accuracy with water hazards on fourteen of the eighteen holes and some forty-seven bunkers sprinkled throughout the course.
Sudden Valley plays to a par-72 and a maximum distance of 6,553 yards for a course rating of 71.8 and a slope rating of 126.
