The golf course first opened for play in May 1992.The course was designed by Jack Frei.
The course has tight fairways and fast greens.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,004 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,296 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 517 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 10, a par-3 that plays to 110 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 17, a 462 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 5, a 188 yard par-3.
#18, a 153-yard, par 3, is a replica of the island hole, "Alcatraz," at the PGA West Stadium Course in La Quinta, California. The 17th hole is considered one of the most difficult 4-pars in the state.
