Detailed description

Washington County Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Hartford, Wisconsin.

Washington County Golf Course first opened for play in 1997. The course was designed by Arthur Hills.

Washington County Golf Course offers golfers a challenging round with its narrow fairways and dense rough. The course is sits along side the Rubicon River environmental corridor and boasts panoramic views of Powder Hill and Holy Hill. One hole that combines both is #8, a 334-yard, par 4, which features a dogleg fairway that veers around a pond with a sand bunker on the opposite side of the turn and another next to the green. There are also stream obstacles and three rock walls to challenge players. The greens are fast and can be hard to read.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,007 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,200 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 13, a par-5 that plays to 570 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 183 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 7, a 545 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Washington County Golf Course is # 14, a 197 yard par-3.
