Thornberry Creek has 27 championship holes of golf. The original nine hole course has two greens for each hole and offers multiple sets of tees that can challenge and also provide a relaxed round of golf for players of all ability levels.
The newer 18 hole course opened in 1994 and was designed by Rick Jacobson. It is considered one of the best courses in Northeast Wisconsin by much of the golfing public in the Green Bay area. The 18 hole course has four sets of tees with the forward course (red tees) measuring 5,103 yards and the tournament course (blue tees) stretching out to 6,934 yards.
There are 72 sand bunkers and 11 water hazards on the 18 that are strategically placed in areas that can penalize and reward accordingly. Playing the 18 hole course, many believe the round is started and finished on holes reminiscent of the "Wisconsin Northwoods" and the middle holes meander through one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the Green Bay area making many feel like they are in Arizona and southern Florida. Thornberry Creek Country Club truly has something to offer everyone
