Fox Hollow Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Fox Hollow Golf Course opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by Gilmore and Graves.
The course rests on 120 acres of gently rolling hills and features one of only two island greens in Wisconsin. A creek runs along nine holes of the course. In keeping with the course name, the course has fox statuettes on both sides of its tee boxes The course is located in a valley where wildlife can be frequently seen roaming the fairways. The fairways are wide open, and the greens vary in size. In addition, a lake and two streams come into play on a few holes.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 5,686 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,519 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 553 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 120 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, the 553 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Fox Hollow is # 17, a 140 yard par-3. The signature hole is #4, a 379-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water from an elevated tee.
