Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is a Resort 36 hole golf facility located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The facility has two championship 18-hole golf courses. They are The Highlands Course and The Brute Course.
The two courses were originally part of the Hugh Hefner Playboy Club.
The Brute course first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Robert B. Harris.
The Brute Course's huge rolling greens average over 8,000 square feet in size. "GOLF Magazine" described this course as "a behemoth that ranks among the toughest layouts in the Midwest."
An eye-catching hole is #9, a 421-yard, par 4, which requires a tee shot over a creek before it finishes alongside Grand Geneva Lake.
