Yahara Hills Golf Course is a Public 36 hole golf facility located in Madison, Wisconsin. The facility has two 18-hole courses. They are: The East Course at Yahara Hills Golf Course and The West Course at Yahara Hills Golf Course.
The West Course at Yahara Hills Golf Course opened in 1964. The course was designed by Art Johnson.
Both of these courses are hilly, and the terrain is heavily wooded. The West Course features larger greens and three ponds. The East Course is considered the more challenging of the two courses. Water hazards come into play on at least twelve separate occasions. Both 18-hole courses feature large bunkered greens, and well-placed hazards.
Par for The West Course at Yahara Hills is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,885 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,523 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 531 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 13, a par-3 that plays to 174 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 6, a 519 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The West Course at Yahara Hills Golf Course is # 13, the short 174 yard par-3.
