Morningstar Golfers Club first opened for play in 2001. The course was designed by Richard Jacobson.
Laid out around a former quarry, Morningstar Golfers Club features dramatic elevation changes throughout the course. These elevation changes, some reaching more than 100 feet, are the key component of a layout with virtually no level lies. Shots must be played to landing in areas flanked by strategically placed bunkers, mounds, depressions and "transition areas." Wild flowers and prairie grass plantings add to the natural setting, and water comes into play on six holes.
Morningstar Golfers Club is a par-72 course that measures 6,785 yards from the tips. The course rating is 72.4 with a slope rating of 137.
