I love people, teaching and reading great instruction books. From Hardy to Hogan from Pelz to Rotella I have read them all, but when it all comes down to it, I consider myself a golf coach not a swing instructor. I worked as a Minor League Professional Umpire for nine years(made it up to Triple A and worked many MLB Spring Training Games) before joining the golf business in 1999 starting at Augusta Ranch Golf Club. I became a Class A member of the PGA of America in 2002. I’m currently the Vice President of the PGA of America. Augusta Ranch Golf Club has been Rated the Best Executive Golf Course in Arizona by the Arizona Republic and was selected Host Club of the Year by the Arizona Women's Golf Association. Most importantly, I am happily married to Karen for 20+ years(she doesn't need my golf instruction) and father to Katie (20)(she says I am an awesome instructor) and Don III (31)(he thinks I am crazy).
