Brandon is the PGA Certified (Instruction) Director of Instruction for the esteemed Idle Hour Club in Macon, GA. Recognized as one of the top instructors in Georgia and the nation, Brandon is one of Golf Digest's "Best Young Teachers" in America and is ranked as one of the top 10 Best In State instructors for Georgia.

He is a six-time PGA Award winner and Amazon Best Selling author of "The Wedge Book." Brandon has extensive experience in golf biomechanics and specializes in short game instruction and fitting. Stooksbury is a Class A member of the PGA of America with a certification in instruction and carries advanced certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute, AimPoint Golf, and US Kids Golf in Biomechanics, green reading, and junior development. Brandon came to Idle Hour from TPC Las Vegas where he served as the Director of Instruction for the PGA Tour Academy and has previously worked with Golf Digest Top 5 instructor Jim McLean in Miami, Florida.

Since 2010, Brandon has consistently been ranked amount the top 10 teachers in his state by Golf Digest and is a member of the magazine’s elite “Best Young Teachers” list. He has earned multiple PGA honors including the 2012 and 2015 Teacher of the Year and has been recognized as a Top 30 instructor by Golf Tips Magazine and is a Golf Range Association of America Top 50 Growth of the Game instructor.
