Jack is a PGA Class A Pro and the Director of Golf Instruction at Bowden Golf Club, Macon, Georgia.

He has a drive and determination of growing the game of golf. He uses his skill as a master golf instructor to this end.

Born in Augusta, Dean was first introduced to golf at the age of 5. He said his dad taught him how to play and from then on his love for the game grew. "I was immediately fascinated with the game of golf,” said Dean. "I grew up tearing my mom’s front yard apart with building my own course to playing on my middle school, high school, and college teams. When I graduated college, I thought why not turn pro and try to make a living at what I love to do.” Dean is a graduate of Georgia Southern University. After graduation, he started the program of becoming pro with the PGA. He said it was a three-year process that consisted of course studies, apprenticeships, and tests. Once he became a Class A Pro, his first job was at a golf academy in Hilton Head, South Carolina. However, he lives in Dublin< Georgia and grew tired of the daily commute to Hilton Head. Their loss is middle Georgia's gain.
