John has served on the Rocky Mountain Section Board of Directors for the 14 years.He was named the Golf Professional of the Year in 2018 and 2007. John is a Certified PGA Professional in Executive Management. John has played on ten Carter Cup teams for the RMSPGA and played in the PGA Professional National Championship held at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA in 2011 and qualified for the 2020 Championship that was canceled due to the pandemic and the Senior PGA Professional Championship in 2021 at Port St. Lucy, FL. He currently holds the course records at Rupert Country Club(61) and Preston Golf and Country Club(58). John played collegiate golf at Utah State University. He is also the coach of the Preston High School boys and girls golf teams.John loves to help golfers achieve their goals both on and off the golf course.
