Tyrus York is a Class A PGA Golf Professional. He is a golf instructor at High-Performance Golf Academy located in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

Tyrus played golf at Cumberland College (now the University of the Cumberlands). Upon graduating college with a business degree, he began employment at Man O’ War Golf and entered the PGA Professional Golf Management Program where he became a Class A, PGA professional in 2010.  In 2011 he joined Larry Ward to create the High-Performance Golf Academy, located at Keene Run Golf Club in Nicholasville, KY.

The Golf Academy offers year-round golf instruction and club fitting located in a temperature-controlled indoor/outdoor facility at Keene Run Golf Club.

Tyler is also the women’s golf coach at Transylvania University.
