It’s a pleasure to have helped Central Oregon golfers improve for the past 34 years and I am excited to be taking on more students in 2023. I enjoy working with all types of golfers and especially with aspiring players that love competition. In fact, my specialty is working with those who consider themselves competitive golfers. My coaching background includes students that enjoyed high level of success as Division 1 NCAA golfers, high level amateur and professional events which include winners of the Pacific Amateur and Oregon Jr. Amateur. Additionally, I served 20 years as a High School golf coach where my players accumulated 2 state titles and 3 state runner ups. In my playing days I was highly competitive and amassed a respectable playing resume. With a personal best round of 63 and a low competitive round of 65 I’ve can attest to principles of success. I’ve been fortunate to win golf tournaments up and down the west coast and I’ve held a few course records in my time as a professional. I use a practical approach based on each individual person to improve strengths and modify techniques for consistent results. I pride myself in my ability to get to the core of problem causing swing flaws while emphasizing keeping golf as simple as possible.
