Born and Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Alex began his career in 2017 as an assistant professional, and continued his career at Diamond Run through 2021 as the Frist Assistant Professional. In 2022, Alex took the head professional job at Treesdale Golf & Country Club and in 2023 began a new career path as a PGA Coach & Player Development Professional at Diamond Run Golf Club.
