Houston Springs golf course is an 18-hole semi-private golf course in Perry, Georgia.
Houston Springs Golf Course opened for play in 2004 as a nine-hole course with land and plans allowing for expansion to 18 holes. The initial nine holes were designed by Azinger Golf Design.
A nature preserve surrounds the golf course and wraps around six lakes.
The front nine holes are wrapped around three ponds, 50 acres of nature preserve, and a scenic ridge. The play is challenging yet rewarding. You will primarily work on your irons and short game on seven of the first nine holes. Holes nine through twelve, however, open up for the long-ball hitter.
Holes ten, eleven, and twelve, are wide open, covering 25 acres of nicely rolling terrain. Mike Dasher designed holes 10-12. A well-thought-out 18-hole circuit has been designed to allow you to play the best six holes twice.
The course is open to the public but was built as an integral part of the residential community that bears its name.
In addition to the first twelve holes being in play, a Golf Club Pro Shop and the putting greens and practice facilities are available.
