I started playing golf when I was 12 years old and immediately fell in love. By the time I was 14, I was a nationally ranked junior golfer. At 16, my career came to a screeching halt. After a near death accident, I was left in a wheelchair with a prognosis that I would not walk or golf ever again. I walked eventually but stayed away from golf for many years. Finally, I could not stand it anymore. I pushed myself and trained until I turned professional in 2007. I toured professionally for 6 years and was able to live my dream. I have been coaching full time for almost 7 years, currently based in Northern California, and love it more than I ever dreamed I could. I am constantly learning and increasingly my breadth of knowledge for my students. I have certification from TPI Level 1, 2 and 3 certified, Trackman, Boditrak, Swing Catalyst and US Kids Golf, Scott Cowx, Bioswing Dynamics certified. I was been named a TOP 50 US Kids Instructor in 2017 and Golf Digest’s America’s Best Young Teachers 2021-2023. I use a great deal of technology when I teach. I find it helps to see every angle and leave nothing up to chance. If we can measure it, we can change it. I currently use Hackmotion, MySwing 3D Motion Capture, Boditrak Vector Plate, CoachNow and V1 Video Analysis.
