Kirk grew up mostly in Indiana but has lived and worked in Kentucky since 1990. He was the Head Golf Professional/Superintendent at Mt. Sterling Country Club (Mt. Sterling, Kentucky) from 1990 to 2004 and has been the Head PGA Golf Professional at Juniper Hill Golf Course since, May, 2004. He has been active in the Kentucky PGA Section serving on the Board of Directors for almost 10 years. He also served as Tournament Chairman for many years and was an active player winning the Player of the Year Award several times.Kirk's mind is pretty simple so he keeps his instruction pretty simple as well! As he has gotten older he has shifted emphasis from teaching people how to play "golfswing" to teaching people how to play "GOLF"!
