Steven is currently the Director of Instruction at Lookaway Golf Club where he oversees the busy Golf Academy teaching all levels of golfers on a daily basis.Recently Steven was ranked by Golf Digest as one of the Best Young Teachers in America 2023/2024 and was awarded the PGA Youth Golf Development Award 2023.Born and raised in Scotland the Home of Golf, Steven took the game up at an early age and played amateur golf for many years before turning professional to focus on a career in coaching.Steven became the Teaching professional at a private club in Scotland while holding a role with the Scottish Golf Union as Development Coach for elite level junior golfers, for nearly 8 years.Always wanting to further his career he accepted a position at America’s second largest junior golf academy and moved to Florida, then to Hilton Head, South Carolina to work with elite level junior golfers and make them ready to attend top D1 colleges around America.
