LochenHeath Golf Club

LochenHeath Golf Club is a Public, 18 hole golf course located seven miles north of Traverse City on the shore of East Grand Traverse Bay in Williamsburg, Michigan.

Designed by Steven R. Smyers, ASGCA, the Lochen Heath golf course opened in 2001. 

LochenHeath was located within a 600-acre cherry orchard right in the heart of America's Cherry Capitol. When first opened, LochenHeath was a semi-private venue, the course turned private at the beginning of 2004. While LochenHeath originally considered stay-and-play packages, the club only allowed members and their guests on the course after 2004. LochenHeath closed on 2009 but reopened for play as a public course in April 2011.

LochenHeath Golf Course features rolling, tree-lined fairways. Native grasses are incorporated into the roughs and strategically placed bunkers wait to swallow wayward shots. The generous greens are nicely contoured. Golfers will enjoy the many views of East Grand Traverse Bay throughout the course. Lochen Heath plays from 5,044 to 7,062-yards and there are four sets of tees to challenge all handicaps. Par is 71.
