Golf is a passion of mine since an early age. I grew up watching my dad, Dick Mast play on the PGA Tour, which initially started my interest in the game. I worked to become a competitive junior and high school golfer, eventually playing Division 1 golf at Liberty University. Having started in the golf business since 2014, I am now the Head Golf Professional at Poplar Grove Golf Club, in Amherst, VA. I enjoy coaching and teaching, having extensive experience with PGA Junior League, group clinics, and private instruction. I also maintain a competitive game, playing the Middle Atlantic PGA Section Tournaments, Pro-AMs, and other professional events. I want my students to reach their goals, and enjoy the game of golf for a lifetime. I work with golfers of all skill levels, on all aspects of their games. In particular I enjoy helping my students improve their short game. Golf should be simple, and it should be fun. As an instructor, I want my students to know that!
